I want to register the Aug 18th class for my son, but I guess it's too late since we don't have the Abacus yet. Is that right? Thanks! (Aloha Mind Math - Online Class) -

Hi! Your materials will ship as soon as you register. You can start on either the Tuesday or Thursday 11am class. Your 'month' will begin with your first class. Your first class is actually a private session, where we introduce the abacus and you will learn about the program and what you can expect. -

Great question. We will ship your abacus and two workbooks once you register. You will also be enrolled in a private 'Get Started' session to learn abacus and what you can expect from the program. After that you can join the class. All student work at their own pace, with individual attention from the instructor. Start anytime! Your first month tuition will start when materials are received. -

Hello, My son has had struggle with math such as word problems, multi-step problems, showing work (LACK OF CONFIDENCE) , explaining his thinking., sequences...he has been difficult for him to stay focus and motivated. We are planning to work on organizational and memorization skills that could help him to find ways to better learn and grasp concepts. What do you propose in your program, what is your type of learning or tools you uses. How many children do you have in the class.? thank you (Aloha Mind Math - Online Class) -

Hello! This program is centered around building a child's self confidence in math! We do this by teaching kids how to solve math problems using an abacus. This is a fun, kinesthetic approach to learning, that kids enjoy. The abacus is the basis for learning 'anzan' or doing math in your mind. Kids will be amazed at how much math they can do mentally, and helps them become problem solvers. Zoom classes are instructor led, with 5 to 7 students per class. -
