About
Cragmont Elementary School
The Cragmont PTA coordinates a number of Afterschool Enrichment Classes. These classes provide opportunities for students to explore additional interests after school hours. The program is organized by parent volunteers through the PTA and taught by independent instructors (not Cragmont or BUSD staff). These classes are open to ALL students, including those enrolled in LEARNS. Fees apply whether or not student is enrolled in LEARNS. A limited number of scholarships are available. Class topics range from art to martial arts, to writing and science programs. These classes are onsite. There are 2 sessions that run throughout the school year.
Our Staff
The Cragmont PTA is a school-based, non-profit organization that supports our school and children in a variety of ways. We fund enrichment programs, specialized support for some students, supplies for all teachers, and we also organize a series of community-building events each year. Finally, we sponsor a rich array of after school enrichment classes. We have a lot of fun making our school the best it can possibly be!

Some of them started getting more into chess and they ended up fielding a team at the BCS Elementary School tournament. The cost is very reasonable for a program of this sort.
