The Acting Center
There are many acting classes in Los Angeles, but The Acting Center is an acting and improv school like no other and considered one of the best by top industry professionals. Our school provides classes for both adults and youth.
We are proud to offer our revolutionary acting classes to young adult students. It combines our popular adult scene study technique with the power and fun of improvisational exercises. This class is ideal for young actors who are just beginning, and those who are already professional actors working in the industry.
The primary difference between our camps/classes and other acting classes is that we do not employ “The Method” style of acting, or encourage the young actor to delve into past psychological trauma. Instead, our technique fosters the young actor’s imagination, empowering them to create exciting, real and memorable characters, which is FUN!
Our services include private coaching and career consultations. We also produce a live show called "Pro Series" where we interview professional industry leaders (past interviewees: Seth Green, Juliette Lewis, Nancy "Bart Simpson" Cartwright and others). We host our popular “Inside the Industry” seminars with successful industry professionals, which cover various topics such as publicity, getting agents, how to book commercials, how to audition, etc. Not only do we provide skilled actor training, but we sincerely strive to help performers understand how to be successful in this business.

Our Staff
The Acting Center's staff is by invitation only to our most skilled and successful students. Because our curriculum is based on our own 300+ exercises, we then extensively train our teachers to be confident in our technique and apprentice them with our lead teachers for 6 months to a year. Our teachers are working actors and all love to teach.
