My son has been attending soccer for 2 seasons here & we love it. Its a parent-volunteer run organization. The coaches we've had so far have been very good.

Typically coaches are parents of kids on the same team, so they're very motivated to teach. They also have visiting professional coaches from UK who guide the coaches and kids periodically.

The league is very good, they have many teams and the Saturday games are very nice. The rec. league is not over-competitive, but at the same time gives the kids a very good team experience.

Would highly recommend it to anyone.

My son was part of the rec league for over a year and he enjoyed it a lot. We had a great experience with the AVYSL admin team and they were always very prompt with responding to problems, refunds or any other issues. My son loved the parent volunteer coaches he got. Later he got into the competitive league where the coaches are always from other countries and have played professional soccer at some level or the other.
We had a positive experience even here.
