School Break Horseback Riding Camp

Please join us for a fun-filled day of camp at Castle Rock Arabians!

Camp will be from 9am-3pm ($150), with additional before and after care provided 8-9am and 3-5pm ($25/hour).

The camp day will consist of, but not be limited to, the following elements:

• Riding - Groups separated according to age and skill level. Riding is targeted to the skill level. 

• Horsemanship and Tacking - Before and after riding, campers will be helped to saddle/unsaddle their horse, groom and bridle. Instructional and hands-on lessons around these elements will be provided as well.

• Lunch Break

• Fun and Games - Bareback riding, games on horseback, and unmounted lessons. How to catch a horse, put on a halter safely, lead, bridle, groom and feed. Demonstrations on how to mount, tie a lead line, saddle, and with horse in hand, learn parts of the horse.

Our Mission at Castle Rock Arabians is to provide education and entertainment while instilling good horsemanship into the habits of each camper. The subject matter is designed to satisfy the child’s attraction to, fascination with and affection for horses as it introduces them to increasing depths of knowledge.
