Shredders Skate Camp

My son was a beginner and absolutely loved his time at shredders camp this summer! Chris has a way of making beginners feel comfortable and motivated to learn a difficult skill.

My 7-year-old absolutely loved skate camp! He attended last summer as well and it’s amazing to see how.m he progressed. Chris and counselors are kind, patient, and fun. We’ll be back!

My daughter loved it and we'll definitely be joining this camp next summer.

My 9 year old, who can have undesirable behavior at camp, loved this camp and was happy to go back every day.

Our son loved Shredders camp! It was his favorite camp of the summer by far. Instructors were great, he learned a lot and had a great time. His progression over the 5 days was notable. He can't wait to do it again!

My 7 year old had never skateboarded before he started camp. After 4 days, he’s riding the “pump park”. Most importantly he’s built confidence in himself and his physical ability. I might cancel other camps to sign up for more shredders skate camp this summer!

This camp was amazing. In one week my girls went from non skaters to dropping in and cruising the park with ease and comfort. They were active the whole time and camp home excited, dirty and exhausted, the way it should be. I signed them up for more and canceled their other camps it was that good.

Shredders Skate Camp is hands down our son's favorite camp. He gets so bummed on the weekends when there is no camp. He has learned so much in such a short period of time and comes home everyday exhausted. His passion for skateboarding has increased and it makes us so happy that he has found his sport!

My twin 8 year olds (girl and boy) had an awesome camp week with Shredders! I was amazed at how much confidence they each gained in just a week. And they thought it was very cool to get to paint and put stickers on their boards. The coaches met each kid at his or her own level and both of them learned new things and had a blast. We are excited to return for a second week later this summer!

Highly recommend!! We love Chris and Shredders! All the coaches and instructors are great. The kids really enjoy the day, and I usually have a hard time tearing my son away at pick up time. My 7-year-old basically learned to skateboard in one week session at Shredders.

Shredders Skate Camp is the BEST! Our skater looked forward to every day of camp. The Instructors were attentive, creative, fun. and professional. The whole experience was outstanding! The staff communicated excellently with campers(and parents) . Our shredder LOVED everyday as there was always something to learn. He liked that the instructors taught them new techniques, but also allowed time for lots of practice time, and each staff member was patient and supportive. This camp is OUTSTANDING!!

This was such an amazing camp for my 5 year old son! He learned skateboarding basics that have made him a safer skateboarder. He was also so happy to have some time to learn how to fish. The teachers were amazing. Two thumbs up!

My daughter loved Shredder’s skate camp! She was a bit nervous but she learned so much in five days. The instructors Chris and Ruby were so sweet and helpful! Every night when she got home she was happy and exhausted and slept well! Thank you for such a great experience!!

My son had a blast, he asked for me to sign him up again. It has been hard to find a camp he enjoys, so glad we tried this one! He just adored the counselors and was stoked about everything they taught him.

Shredders was awesome! I recently got my 7 year old into skateboarding. He LOVED his week at Shredders! His skills improved, but more importantly his confidence level went WAY up. He asked if he could go to Shredders again this summer. Chris and the other instructions create a relaxed, no pressure environment where kids can learn and have fun. Highly recommend Shredders!!!

Chris was awesome, kind, flexible and fun, and weathered a crazy week with smoke and rain. I wish that for the $ the camp was longer than 10:30-3:30...feels like for $85/day we'd get at least 6-7 hours...other camps are $60-70/day for 8+ hours...just food for thought. we will consider going back in the summer for a week.

My son had a special time bonding with Chris through learning to skate at various parks, as well as munching on yummy snacks.

For our competitive athletic son, this camp was a perfect fit. Bodie had a fantastic time and learned an insane amount of skateboarding skill!!

Hannah had a great time as Shredders! She wanted to go to the skate park first thing Saturday morning and is now taking private lessons. She is hooked! I think that being around all of these people passionate about skate boarding made her passionate too. Money extremely well spent! She loved her instructors too. Kind and supportive staff.

THE BEST camp we have ever done. With a serious focus on shredding (technique/skills/endurance/love for), of course, Chris also offers an environment and a well-managed group of young counselors who teach (and exude) camaraderie, self-confidence, safety, honor, friendship and kindness.

My kid loves this camp! He has been joining this camp for 5 years and enjoys all the counselors and their mentoring. He will be coming this summer again.

My son and daughter went to Shredders Skate Camp last year and thoroughly loved skateboarding and this camp. Chris was very inspirational as he is an expert skater and is excellent with children. They are coming again this summer and are counting the days until camp starts.

My 7 year old son loves Chris von Blohn and his skateboarding camp, Shredders Skate Camp. Chris has mentored my son not only in skateboarding but in life. His counselors Tyler Peterson and Alex Blanchard are great with kids. They teach their campers to try hard, be patient and never give up. This is a great life lesson that they instill in kids!

A good week! My kids had a great time learning to skate with Shredders and then practicing their new skills in a very relaxed, fun environment. Chris and Alex are fantastic with the kids. My kids said they were patient, encouraging and fun.

Really great camp - My son loves to skate and has learned so much from Tyler. It's really nice to have someone take our skate enthusiast to the many skate parks around the bay area so he can be exposed to a variety of new terrains and learn new skills. He loves it!

My son has had the greatest time- Monday’s are his favorite day since he started camp! Chris has been easy to communicate with and the kids think he’s absolutely awesome.

My son and daughter went to Shredders skate camp last summer for 3 weeks and fell in love with skateboarding. They were beginners but after 3 weeks they were almost advanced skaters thanks to Chris. He is very good with kids and inspirational. I would highly recommend this camp!

My son had so much fun going from skate park to skate park all week that he requested another week of camp. Wish there was a deal of buy 1 week and get the 2nd one 1/2 price or something because it gets expensive. Over all, all the instructors are very friendly and great with the kids.
