Roblox is one of the hottest places on the universe to make games, with cutting edge graphics and new, amazing, game building tools. In our Roblox Coders course, kids use the popular LUA programming language to add awesome code that adds things like custom blocks, lasers, disappearing blocks, obstacle course (Obby), and even simulators and more! This course has a focus on learning to write awesome code that adds game actions and capabilities!

AM Hours:9:30AM-12:00PM

PM Hours:1:00PM-3:30PM

Online Livestream is now available for this incredible course at select times. Same expert LIVE teacher, class, and social interaction with other kids, but online from your computer at home with talk, chat, whiteboard, video, and other interactive classroom elements.

My son had a great time playing and chatting with other kids in this unusual summer. The instructor was prepared and helpful. He however did not find the camp too challenging or advanced. Overall, it was a good camp, but perhaps they could have had more advanced coding.

My son is already familiar with Roblox Studio and have been creating Obbies on his own. Do you differentiate the course content in any way between kids who are new to this vs. kids who's more advanced? Also, if my son's already taken this course, is he going to go through the same content again as the last time or is it different each time? (Roblox Coders AM/PM - Half Day Online Summer Camp) -

Hi there - thanks for your question! Yes, we do differentiate the course for those who are more advanced versus beginners. We group them together with different complexities of the projects that they are focusing on, with the more advanced campers doing the 'next level' of actions to create more complex game actions and learn to integrate those aspects into their games in a creative and imaginative way! No, he would not be going through the same content again if he takes this course for the second time. Rather, he would be building from where he left off from the end of his last class/camp. -

What is the difference between "Winter Break - Roblox Design & Code Camp" and "Roblox Coders AM/PM"? (Roblox Coders AM/PM - Half Day Online Summer Camp) -

Thank you so much for your question. Roblox Coders will focus more on coding slightly more complex game actions for most campers, with fewer themes around Winter Break Camp than will Winter Break - Roblox Design & Code Camp". There is the option to design more unique elements which can be themed around winter in the Design and Code Camp option. I hope that helps answer your question! -
