Music with Erica

Erica is an inspirational piano and voice instructor that clearly has a passion for passing on her knowledge of music and wide range of experience. Both my children, now 9 and 12, have been taking piano and voice lessons with Erica for the last 5 years. Our family looks forward to the twice-a-year recitals where we hear not only our own children, but many children in town that have also benefited from Erica's instruction. In addition to being a great teacher, Erica has also been a great mentor to our children in preparing for their musical theater auditions. She gave them both valuable feedback and guidance on what to expect from Directors on their monologues and vocal pieces. Most of all, Erica knows how to relate to our kids and keep them excited about music and theater.

Finding the right teacher is everything! In a few short months, Erica has been able to cultivate a passion within my daughter for piano playing through our weekly private lessons. Erica is fun, fair and informative in her teaching style. She is approachable and flexible in her style to teach new concepts. My daughter has made significant progress with her skill under her guidance.

Cancelled camp with only 4 days notice. I had to scramble to find another place for my kid to go while I'm at work. I understand that there were not enough enrollees to make it profitable, but would have appreciated more advanced notice. I could have invited friends to sign up! Sent an email after I got the cancellation but no response :(

I can't say enough about Erica as an overall teacher of music. My children have taken piano lessons with her for the past 6+ years. My kids started when they were around 6 and now my youngest is 8. We've mostly done piano lessons but my oldest also did the Hamilton choir. Erika understands kids of all ages and found the perfect mix of traditional music with current hits. My daughters loved being able to play their favorite Hamilton songs or things they heard on the radio. Erica is a great teacher and I highly recommend!
