Scott's Stone Carving Classes

Scott Cahaly graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in fine arts in the late 90s. Upon graduation he moved into the carving community in Central Vermont. While working as a resident sculptor at the Vermont Marble Exhibit, he carved a 5000 pound block of Vermont Marble. In 2000 Scott relocated to the Boston area where he started exhibiting his work in many galleries and universities around town. He is a member of The New England Sculptors Association and has been teaching stone sculpture for over ten years at several major sculptural institutions in the Boston area including the Decordova Museum School. In 2010 he founded Scott's Stone Carving Classes SSCC. His teaching approach is well regarded and he seeks to unlock his students fascination for the stone carving process.
