About
Village Music School
Giving students a positive experience with music lessons is our number one goal. We believe that music education should be fun, presented in a supportive environment using materials that inspire practice and commitment. Village instructors put these principles into practice, and Village students develop a love and understanding for music that will last a lifetime.

Our teachers are kind, thoughtful professionals who create engaging lesson plans for varied skill levels and ages of students. They have come from Dartmouth, Berkeley, New England Conservatory, The San Francisco Conservatory of Music and many other great schools.

Great place for kids and adults alike! Our son has been taking lessons here for 6 years. He started on the drums, played in a few rock bands at the school and now takes lessons on the electric guitar - and performs in most recitals. Owner Robert is great with the kids and passionate about what he does.
Josh has been our sons music teacher for many years - and is a professional musician himself . He's the only one who has really "gotten through" to our shy son - he feels real comfortable with Josh. Josh was able to pick up on our son's learning style and work with him effectively. I took piano lessons there myself - but had to stop for lack of time.

My 8 year old has been enrolled in the Project Rock Band camp this summer and loves it! He had no prior musical experience and has in only a few days, tried out guitar, bass and drums as well as singing. He loves the teachers and the environment which is a lot coming from a kid who can be quite picky about camps/classes. He's excited to go each morning and is happy when I pick him up. I like that they also incorporate art, writing and outside time as well as exposing the children to different instruments. He is insisting we sign him up for drum lessons now!!
