Initially my daughter was diffident about trying out fencing but she ended up really enjoying it! Not only did she learn something new, she was excited about trying out the new techniques. And she made a new friend!

My daughter loved the camp. This is a great introduction to fencing.

We signed up our twins (boy & girl) to attend the week-long summer camp. They never fenced before.. Throughout the week, they learned the basic hand and foot works, followed by real fencing bouts with their classmates. The classes were fun, engaging and well structured. We ended up signing our kids for a 2nd week of summer camp, before they transitioned to the regular fencing program here. We highly recommend their fencing camp program.

My kid attended Intro Fencing classes and he loved it! The coach and staff here is very professional and very patiently to answer our questions from A to Z. If you want your kid to like fencing, SVF will be a good choice.

My child just finished camp at SVF. They seemed to be pretty organized, and they did a good job with the social distancing. However, I'm hearing from my child that the main instructor was generally cold with the kids (not much of a connection) and was somewhat impatient. I'm being told that he felt like he was being yelled at, because the instructor raised her voice when she felt the kids weren't paying attention. These are kids, whose minds wander and who often think about other things. That's normal and expected. Yelling to get the point across, while effective in getting the class to move along, makes for an unpleasant experience for the child. It's not an environment that I want my kid to be in. I hope other parents read this and understand that it's not a particularly kind, warm environment. You may want to consider this before enrolling. My child was also disappointed that there were no games to help the kids get to know each other; it was more like a class structured for adults than for kids.

My kids loved it! It is a real fencing club taught by elite teachers. They learned a lot and they were tired and happy at the end of each day

Ishaan loved the camp and was eager to go for it everyday .

My pre-teen nephew started fencing here and has been consistently very positive about it. This is now his favorite sport. He made a point to say that the coach is a big part why he likes it so much. (never mind his impressive credentials). They must be doing something very right.

We have been training with SVF for 3 and a half years. The coaches are excellent. They bring a lot of experience and also a lot of heart in this competitive training.

This is the best club and the coaches are amazing.
