Overview

Have you ever wanted to make your own claymation movie using the same techniques like “The Boxtrolls”, “Chicken Run”, or “The Nightmare Before Christmas”? Then join this exciting camp where students will collaborate in small groups, brainstorm an idea, create a storyboard and script, sculpt clay figurines, build scenery, and design special effects while shooting a short stop-motion animation movie.

Each student receives a physical copy of the video they make.

It is exciting to see my son had a good time in the camp. At the end of week of camp, we got a USB containing a 44 minute video of the whole week program. While I was happy to see my son appear in the first 10 minutes, My son told me he couldn't get any chances. it was disappointing I couldn't see any of his participation or contribution in the remaing time. The participation were mainly from just the several same kids who are more confident and expressive. I understand that every child has different characteristics, but I believe that a supportive enviroment, including encouragments can help all the kids become more confident and bold. It would have been nice to see more efforts in engaging all the children to participate throughout the camp!
