Join Brushstrokes for fun and inspiring week-long online summer camp. With new projects every day and a mix of media & techniques, campers will create exciting art work while making new friends in a safe and virtual structure.
Each week-long session will have a different theme.
June 21st - June 25th: Art Around the World
- Take an artistic tour around the globe in this week's session. Campers will learn about art techniques and traditions from all around the world, and have fun experimenting with their own takes and interpretations. Projects will include pottery painting, print making, and much more.
July 12th - July 16th: Artists in Nature
- Campers will immerse themselves in art that captures the beauty of the world around them. We will learn techniques such as animal drawing, landscape painting, and figure drawing.
August 2nd - August 6th: Art and Storytelling
- Explore art alongside the magic of storytelling! Campers will take a deep dive into how to combine their artistic creations with characters and stories of their own. Projects will cover topics such as comic illustration, graphic novels, clay figure building and much more.
We'll gather virtually via Zoom (9:30-11 AM & 1-2:30PM) for 2 daily art lessons in which the instructor will lead discussions related to the week's theme, guide the campers through their projects, and provide a warm and welcoming space for kids to connect with one another.
Project Materials are included and can be picked up curbside at Brushstrokes the Saturday before camp. Clay & pottery projects can be dropped off for firing any Saturday throughout the summer and will be ready for pickup 2 weeks later. As my son is getting older, I’ve really appreciated how the camp adapts to different age groups. The sessions for older children are the perfect mix of focus and freedom, allowing him to hone his skills while still being encouraged to think outside the box.
The staff at Brushstrokes is amazing—so fun, supportive, and inspiring. They create a nurturing environment that makes it easy for my kids to grow as artists and leave feeling inspired and fulfilled. The space is a perfect setting for creativity; it's a place where I sometimes wish I could spend the day, too!
It’s been a wonderful experience for both my kids, and we can’t wait for next summer!
