Let molecules be your muse in this week of science-inspired art. We will explore nature’s repetition of pattern on vastly different scales and in radically different contexts: the motion of the planets around the sun, electrons orbiting a nucleus, or waves on water. No need to be a genius, just come with a love of art and a respect for the beauty in science!

Each camp is divided into 2 groups of 14 kids - We group children by age to the extent that we are able, but are happy to keep siblings together at your request. Check with your friends to find out which group they are in, and let us know if you need help accommodating.  Each group will do the same projects.

After care is also available from 3-6 pm for $20/hour, where we can continue the creativity! Kids in After Care enjoy the full range free time activities and may also paint additional pottery if parents designate a budget to do so (budgets noted at drop off and balance paid at pick-up). Once a week of camp is in your cart, click "add participant" and you will be able to add After Care. This price will cover the first hour, and any additional hours can be paid at pickup.

My seven-year-old daughter just completed two weeks of virtual camps at Brushstrokes - Arty Einstein and Life of an Artist. The teacher, Brianna, is fantastic. She manages to keep everyone on task and has created the most amazing set of activities. My daughter learned a lot of technical skills while exercising creative thinking. She now sketches all of the time. So fun!

My 6-year old son LOVED Brushstrokes camp! Not only was it open when all other camps were closed he was happily occupied with creative and open ended art projects and play all day with friends and supportive staff. He was so happy and engaged and told me it was his favorite camp! (He went to several that he enjoyed this past summer.) Thank you, Brushstrokes, for a wonderful experience to close out the summer.
