Camp Wawona
Camp Wawona's mission is to transform lives through Jesus Christ with the creative use of nature based education, recreation, retreat and summer camp ministries.
Camp Wawona offers an unlimited opportunity for outdoor recreation and learning. It is a perfect place to experience a variety of activities and grow closer to the creator.
Our Staff
Norma Villarreal is a native Californian who is no stranger to Camp Wawona. She arrived to the Central California Conference Youth Department in 2008. Since then, she has served in different capacities, including Associate Youth Director and Jr. Youth Director.
She currently serves as our conference Youth Director and Camp Wawona Executive Director, responsible for overseeing both year-round and summer camp operations. It was here at Camp Wawona that she discovered her love and passion for the great outdoors, and is committed to give back as she serves everyone who enters the beautiful facilities of Camp Wawona.
