Camp Laurel’s Summer Camp is a week long camp for children ages 6-17. Summer Camp focuses on environmental education and recreational programming while catering to the fragile physical and mental health of children and youth living with HIV/AIDS. The program works to increase each child’s self-esteem and empowers them through the development of important life skills needed to build independent, successful and healthy lives. Daily, campers experience exciting activities such as high ropes, low ropes, archery, swimming, canoeing and so much more!
Camp Laurel’s Family Camp program offers a unique opportunity for families to come together away from the stresses and isolation associated with HIV/AIDS.
Based on the belief that families play an essential role in the emotional, physical and social development of children, this program focuses on strengthening the family unit, while creating an environment that helps to foster peer support groups. Here our families are free to experience all that camps have to offer in a safe and supportive environment.
Camp Laurel is fully staffed with medical support.
