Warhorse Karate Jiu Jitsu has three locations in the Spokane/North Idaho area that focus on a friendly, family atmosphere where students can learn quality martial arts and develop character skills as well. Although the name Warhorse is relatively new, the school has been regarded as the area's premier training facility since the early 90's with the students regularly dominating at local competitions. What makes the Warhorse program unique is that it focuses on developing strong character traits just as much as martial arts skill, which is why we have been KREM's Best of Spokane top spot holder since the contest started in 2009 as well as #1 in the Inlander Best-of Contest since the Martial Arts category was added in 2012. Warhorse gives more to local charities than any other karate school in the Inland Northwest supporting groups like the American Childhood Cancer Organization (over $40,000 donated to date), JDRF, and the Spokane Humane Society.
