Paddlers Kayak Trip:
Are you ready to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and have an amazing adventure? Then this 3 day, 2 night kayak trip is for you! You’ll spend your first two days on camp preparing for your expedition, and then Tuesday through Thursday you’ll head deeper into the Adirondack Park to kayak through Indian Lake and Lewey Lake, camping overnight at state park sites along the water. When you get back to camp, in the tradition of all of our Paddlers trips, you’ll get to create a group paddle that will hang in our dining hall to commemorate your trip for years to come!
Mountain Climbers:
This session is perfect for any girl who is looking for a mix of time spent off-site exploring the Adirondacks alongside a few days spent in camp participating in the traditional Camp Little Notch experience. During this program, campers will spend two full and exciting days off-camp hiking local mountains -- Shelving Rock Mountain and Shelving Rock Falls, and Black Mountain. Both hikes are around 6 miles and have an elevation gain of over 1000 feet. The other days will be spent in camp participating in some of their favorite camp activities like creekwalking, arts & crafts, and swimming and boating. Campers new and returning are welcome to participate in this program as long as they are prepared to take on this physical challenge. Pre-camp conditioning for the hikes is recommended.
Hudson Adventures:
This session is perfect for any girl who is looking for a mix of time spent off-site exploring the Adirondacks along with a few days spent in camp participating in the traditional Camp Little Notch experience. During this program, campers will spend two full and exciting days off-camp exploring the Hudson River. Their first adventure will take them on a 17-mile whitewater rafting trip down the river. On their second adventure, campers will enjoy nature in a unique way, boarding railbikes and pedaling 7 miles of the rails alongside the Hudson River! The rest of the week will be spent in camp participating in some of their favorite camp activities like creekwalking, arts & crafts, and swimming and boating. Campers of any experience level are welcome to participate in this program, but comfort in water that is over your head while wearing a lifejacket is required.
