Wesleyan Summer Gifted Program

Since the first camp in 1983, the Wesleyan Summer Gifted Program has been committed to fostering the development of gifted adolescents in the quantitative, verbal and social areas. The teachers are all college professors who possess a special interest in gifted education. Classes are challenging, yet fun. Creativity is emphasized and channeled both directly and indirectly. Many campers return year after year.

Founded in 1983
Our Staff

Our Director and Faculty all hold PhD degrees and are all faculty at West Virginia Wesleyan College.  Our Counselors are all first aid/CPR certified and all of our staff have passed criminal background checks.  Our program adheres to the "Safe Sanctuary" policy of the WV conference of the United Methodist Church.
