Children's Art Studio

Offering after school art classes for children and teens ages 6 and up. Adult classes also available“It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.”

Our study of masterworks throughout the centuries will inform how we see and interpret the world. We will play with clay, paint, charcoal, ink, wood, glue and the near limitless materials artists use. We will learn to respect and honor the visual expression that emerges from each individual’s work. Suzanne Henderson has been teaching art to young people for many years. She is a beloved and highly respected educator and mentor to generations of families. Through the teaching of art to children, she fosters self-confidence, encourages hopeful feelings, and inspires respect for others and the planet.
