Ragazzi Boys Chorus does not have upcoming sessions on ActivityHero right now. We can send you an email when they do.
Ragazzi Boys Chorus, a CBS news ‘best choir of the Peninsula’, will teach your boy to sing—and grow. We help him develop into a confident young man as he taps into the power of focused learning in a team environment. Call to schedule a fun group audition for boys ages 7-10; no previous singing experience or prepared piece needed.
Boys offered membership begin in September or January. Semesters align with Bay Area school calendars. Beginning singers meet one evening per week for choral singing and theory instruction. Boys progress through a complete music education in an award-winning choral program. Ragazzi performs its own concert series, sings at a SF Giants game, tours domestically and internationally, and collaborates with other prestigious Bay Area arts organizations.
Ragazzi Boys Chorus is led by Artistic Director and co-founder Joyce Keil and Associate Artistic Director and General Director Kent Jue. They and additional highly qualified faculty teach around 200 singers, in six tiered levels — from over 100 schools and over 30 coastside and valley communities. Ragazzi does background checks on all employees who have close contact with choristers, including faculty, accompanists, camp counselors and tour chaperones.
Ragazzi participated in the San Francisco Symphony’s recording of Stravinsky’s Perséphone, which was included in the Symphony’s 1999 GRAMMY award for best classical album and best orchestral performance. Ragazzi has been voted a CBS "Best Choir of the Peninsula" and a Daily News "Best non-profit".
