Come join the fun of this fast paced Olympic sport!! Students will learn:

Proper usage of the equipment and safety.
Correct Footwork. How to advance, retreat, and lunge!
Basic bladework. How to correctly control their foil.
Basic tactics for fencing.

ALSO NOTE: These are INTRODUCTORY classes for fencers with absolutely no fencing experience. If you have had prior fencing experience, please request a refund immediately and ask us about coming in to our regular ongoing classes (No online signups for those!!)

All equipment will be provided.

My experience with Charlotte Fencing Academy was absolutely wonderful! It's a great facility with all the state of the art equipment. But Coach Colleen and her staff are what I'd like to brag about most! They all really know what they're doing but their teaching skills are most outstanding. I'm not the most physical specimen and I knew absolutely nothing about fencing when I first went there. I'm not the fastest learner and I made a lot of mistakes but all the staff was unfailingly encouraging and knew how to correct my mistakes without making me feel the least bit discouraged. I hope that I have the opportunity to take more lessons there and I highly recommend Charlotte Fencing Academy to everyone interested in the sport!
