SPeeD Academy Golf Camp

This Academy is a must for every junior golfer reaching for a goal and striving to be the best they can be.

The SPeeD Academy, will be 1/2 day camps (4 hours 30 minutes each day). Each day the students will receive instruction at the practice facilities using SPeeD and then move to the golf course to play golf with on course instruction.

Participants are required to have skills allowing them to play 9+ holes of golf each day of camp. Participants MUST have on course experience prior to registering for this camp. NO BEGINNERS. Each participant should have their own set of golf clubs. Adult sized clubs can be rented from the golf shop, if necessary.

SPeeD Academy will teach kids how to improve using SPeeD (Speed Practice Drills). Fundamentals (in every area of golf: short game – putting, chipping, pitching, fullswing, and course management) will be taught throughout the week. 

Academy students will participate for 2 hours each day using SPeeD and play on the golf course each day.

SPeeD Academy is the fastest way to lower your scoring average. SPeeD Practice Drills creates good habits through short bursts of Motivated, Dedicated, Focused and Deliberate training. Students who have implemented SPeeD into their golf game, have all lowered their scoring average. 

Most importantly, SPeeD Academy offers an opportunity to interact with other kids, get a good workout, enjoy the outdoors and a great opportunity to move closer to their goals!

From 7 year olds to 70 year olds, recreational players to tournament players, ALL have enjoyed success from SPeeD.

All classes are taught by golf professional Roy Day, PGA. Roy has been named US Kids Top 50 Junior Instructors 2006, 2007, 2008. Roy has been named US Kids Master Junior Instructors 2009 to present. Roy has averages over 2,500 lessons each year, with 80% of his students under 18 years old. Roy has taught over 9,000 students during 33 years of teaching. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about golf, Roy makes learning FUN!!

Class size is limited to 9 students. Plenty of time to get individual attention and improve skills.
