INSTRUCTION: Taught by Camp Director and Master Clinician and personal development connoisseur, with over 30 years experience, and still learning - Coach Gil Llewellyn and some of his friends, former teammates, and top coaches, in an ever-evolving, and engaging format.
CAMP PROCESS and method of approach: We build intensively on each player’s ability to most effectively play the game out from their facility to more comfortably and swiftly understand and perform the MASTER SKILL of ball-handling. (which includes passing, receiving, and protecting it when you have it) A skill which is the gateway skill to being able to most effectively improve all areas of one’s game, (shooting, layups, rebounding, defense, footwork, etc.) while more easily empowering one to create opportunities for oneself and one’s teammates.
We incorporate various arrangements of supervised play along with a healthy balance of game applicable drills as part of our process, according to each player’s pace and best style of learning in an engaging and interactive format. We combine the best of old school and new school approaches, as we teach, STEP-BY-STEP, how to develop the ATTACK, PROTECT, CREATE and FINISH mindset, used by the best (NBA, WNBA, international pros and college stars, to all the rest.
We focus on universal concepts, that can help any player, be more valuable, and play better in any system.
