Camp Tannadoonah
Camp Tannadoonah is a traditional resident camp for kids ages 6-16. We are located on beautiful Birch Lake in southwest Michigan.
Activities include archery, sports, swimming, boating, waterskiing, tennis, yoga, crafts, nature, dance, drama, cooking, and many more.
Camp Tannadoonah is accredited by the ACA and licensed by the State of Michigan. Camper to counselor ratios are 4:1 or better.

Our Staff
We hire a staff of 30 cabin counselors and approximately 15 support staff (kitchen staff, nurses, maintenance staff, etc) each summer. We also have around 10 adult volunteers each week to help provide programs. All of our staff (new and returning) are required to complete an annual criminal history check, a check of the National Sex Offender registry (NSOPW), and a state central registry check for each state they have lived in since turning 18.
We hire staff from all over the world to serve our campers. Last year we had staff and volunteers from 8 US states and 12 different countries! Our staff collectively spoke 10 different languages.

My 2 boys have attended Camp Tannadoonah the last 3 summers and have had fantastic experiences. My younger daughter will be joining them this summer. The staff have all been amazeing and and added to their growth. One of my son’s has ASD and the camp has been welcoming and accommodating. I recommend them to all families looking for a summer camp experience.
