Overview

Student-Teacher Ratio 10:1

Both activities are our popular offering :)

Art Exploration Your child will thoroughly enjoy a new and different art / Craft projects each day - Canvas painting, Stained glass painting on plastic, How to draw step by step, etc. etc. Kids enjoy painting and learn the technique step by step in easy way and how to use acrylics. Add your own touch and complete your masterpiece with acrylic paints. Kids just love this class. It's an art & craft project that teaches kids to work consistently and develop more on the theme while staying focused. We choose activities as per age and skill level.

Mad Science Do we make edible slime? Or measure starch present in vegetable or make a fruit battery? How about erupting a lemon volcano or make a soap? Yes, lots of possibility in science! This is one of our popular offerings.  And kids really love it :) What's the better way other than learning science with experiments? Do it for yourself! Learn while make mistakes....it's all fair in science! Everyday a new experiment brings a great variety in this fun way of learning science.

COVID Safety Protocol : Mask is optional but recommended.  All CDC guidelines for youth will be followed with utmost care.

Outdoor activity : Lunch and playtime at park

Half day : Half day enrollment students get to work on one of the activities. (Mad Science or Art)

My daughter really enjoyed the art/science camp here even though it was only for half a day! She made a beautiful painting that she's proud of.

Children are not allowed to talk while doing the art and science activities. While it's important to listen and respect the teacher, I believe children should be able to socialize and share their excitement during these activities. My daughter, age 7, had a great time and said camp was excellent. My son, age 9, was the oldest and was too energetic for the setting. I am certain he misbehaved and deserved to be reprimanded, but it seemed like the setting was a too strict despite his disobedience. He said camp was "fine" but asked daily to be picked up early.

Dear Parent,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our camp. We truly appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that your daughter had an excellent time with us.

We want to assure you that our policy is to create an environment that encourages social interaction and sharing of thoughts during activities. However, it is our responsibility to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment for all campers. We understand that your son had some difficulties and despite our efforts to manage the situation, there were instances when his behavior became disruptive. We want you to know that we tried various strategies to help him integrate better with the group, and at no point was he punished inappropriately.

Regarding the sibling interactions, we did observe some instances of fighting between your children, and we worked to mediate these situations to ensure both were comfortable. We continue to foster a nurturing environment where all children feel safe and heard.

About the age group, your son was indeed not the oldest. We had three other boys older than him in the camp who blended well with the rest of the group.

On the matter of pickup times, we understand that delays can occur. Even though you were late for 40 min., we did not charge you any money as we value your patronage. Our late policy is $1 per minute. We want to clarify that our camp ends at 5pm and we encourage parents to pick up their children promptly to maintain our schedules and routines.

We hope this explanation offers a clearer picture of our policies and practices. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our services. Thank you once again for entrusting your children with us. We look forward to welcoming them back at our camp in the future.

Best regards,

Shilpa

We needed a camp on short notice for OKR 5 year old daughter when our plans changed this summer. She really enjoyed the camp, spoke highly of both the art projects and the free time at the nearby park. He final art project was great!
