Seattle University High School Summer Programs

Seattle University offers two pre-collegiate summer programs that provide opportunities for self-paced learning, experiential projects, and real-time engagement with our faculty and undergraduate program advisors. Students will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded young leaders from across the country!

The Albers Summer Business Institute  at Seattle University is a credit-bearing, project-based summer business camp for high school students focused on social entrepreneurship.

The program provides youth from African-American, Latino/Hispanic, Native American Indigenous, Pacific Islander, Hmong American, and Nepalese American heritages the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, data visualization, economics, and more.

Duron obtained his BA in Business Management with a minor focus in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Seattle University. He spent over 10 years supporting youth in college planning and career development. 

Duron has served with Seattle University for over 12 years in a variety of capacities including the Center for Community Engagement, Seattle Early College/Middle College at Seattle University, University Summer Programs, and Albers School of Business & Economics. Also, Duron is a local entrepreneur and has started businesses in event management, nonprofit management, light therapy, travel and tourism, and many more.
