About
Midpen Media Center

Midpen Media Center is THE resource for getting your voice and story on TV! With the Media Center you can learn to make TV shows and video in-studio and in the field, to air on Local TV Channels and online. Midpen gives youth the tools to tell your own stories and to become producers of media that informs, inspires, and empowers! We are a non-profit TV station that operates five TV channels in the midpeninsula. We put the people and issues of our community on TV and we provide low cost training to people in the areas of TV Studio Production, TV mobile Production Truck, Field Video Production, etc. We have a wonderful community of volunteers that collaborate and help each other fulfill their vision and our mission of video empowerment for all.

This was my daughter's favorite camp of the summer. She enjoyed the activities the most, and made the most friends.

I'm Amit, I'm 13 years old and I had an amazing time at the year-long afterschool class for film at Mipden. It's an exciting and engaging environment that builds and perfects the kids film and studio production skills. I had so much fun with all my friends that I made. In fact, it was so fun I brought my other friend from school when I would continue the program the next semester.
But by far the most anticipated and well-executed part of the program was hands on; cameras, scriptwriting, acting, directing, and the whole filmmaking process in general - a rare education that is almost impossible to get anywhere else. Overall, Midpen taught me and my friends crucial skills that will 100% be applicable to the filmmaking process later in life but also to any project that involves responsibility and taking action. The program is a must, whether your child likes filmaking or not. I look forward to my adventures with Midpen later in life.
